From Puerto Bertrand and continuing south is the Nef River and upstream is the glacier of the same name. The Plomo lake and glaciers such as Soler and Nef stand out. To the east and past Puerto Bertrand, following the route there is a detour that leads to the Roballos border pass, finding the Chacabuco Valley and going through landscapes typical of the Patagonian pampas with native animals such as guanacos and ñandúes inserted in the landscape. Continuing south, you reach Cochrane, capital of the Capitán Prat province and one of the main and most complete supply and service centers south of Coyhaique, after Chile Chico in the Aysén Region. In the surroundings of this town we find interesting attractions such as the Lake Cochrane National Reserve, where fishing excursions and walks suitable for all ages are offered through sectors dedicated to the sighting and conservation of huemules. Further south, it is also possible to access Mount San Lorenzo, 3,706 meters high.
